My name is Fatima Sanih. I am a second semester freshman at City College of New York located in New York, NY. I am studying to obtain a bachelors in Computer Engineering. I graduated from Brooklyn Studio Secondary School located in Brooklyn, NY. I was apart of the graduating class of 2018 and I graduated with a 4.0 gpa. I was a member of the National Honors Society and Arista Honors Society. I work at P.S 247 located in Brooklyn, NY as an after school group leader for an organization called NIA, the Neighborhood Improvement Association since November 2016. I create fun and educational activities for the students. On my free time, I volunteer in my local youth center, MAS Youth Center, located in Brooklyn, NY. Along side with others, I have given back to my community in many ways. We organized a Back to School event where every year, towards the end of summer, we distributed school supplies in underserved communities. We also partnered with Meals on Wheels and offered food to the elderly. I am hardworking, responsible and assertive. I have leadership skills and Time-management skills.
